Rooms

Once you have set up new Rooms, you will need to associate them with one or more Products. SEE ALSO Product & Room Setup - Accommodation

View Rooms

  1. Click on the Manage tab.

  2. Click on Products and Rates in the left hand menu.

  3. Click on the " Setup Standard Rooms" button.

  4. To view the details of an individual Room, click on the (View) button beside the Room name.

Setup New Rooms

  1. In Manage, click on Products and Rates from the left hand menu.

  2. Click on the " Setup Standard Rooms" button.

  3. Click on the " Add Room" button.

  4. Enter the Status, Name and Code of the new Room.

  5. Select all other Preferences*.

  6. Click on the " Save" button.

  7. Repeat steps 1 to 6 for each new Room you wish to add.

*A Waitlist Product is a ‘virtual’ rom that does not relate to an actual resource, but is used to take bookings for customers wishing to be waitlisted when no actual products are available. Bookings data is not recorded in relevant reports, and this product cannot be booked online.

*Enabling a Room to be Available for Online Bookings will mean it will be available for sale through online channels, e.g. on "My Website" or through Distributors.

Edit Rooms

  1. In Manage, click on Products and Rates from the left hand menu.

  2. Click on the " Setup Standard Rooms" button.

  3. Click on the (Edit) button beside the Room to be modified.

  4. Make the necessary changes.

  5. Click on the " Save" button.

Delete Rooms

  1. In Manage, click on Products and Rates from the left hand menu.

  2. Click on the " Setup Standard Rooms" button.

  3. Click on the (Delete) button beside the Room to be removed.

  4. Note the Warning and confirm the deletion.

It is not possible to delete a Room if there are existing bookings in the system for it.
