It is possible to set up discount programs which allow for a percentage figure to be taken off the price (as dictated by the Price Type) of a product, e.g. A 5% reduction for Seniors.
When a particular discount is applied during the Make a New Booking process, the pre-defined discount is automatically calculated and applied to the Product/s in the booking.
Click on the Manage tab.
Click on Discounts in the left hand menu.
The Summary displays a list of discount programs that have previously been created.
In Manage, click on Discounts then New Discount from the left menu.
Enter a Description for the discount, and a Discount Value (percentage).
Click on the "
Save" button.
In Manage, click on Discounts from the left hand menu.
Click on
(Edit) beside the discount to be edited.
Make the necessary changes.
Click on the "
Save" button.
In Manage, click on Discounts from the left hand menu.
Click on the
(Delete) button beside the discount to be removed.
Note the warning and confirm deletion.
