Combined Rooms

Combined Rooms are made up of two or more rooms which, when joined, can be sold as one item.

Example:

• An hotel may have  Rooms called "Room 1" and "Room 2" that can be sold separately as a "Double Room" and "Twin Room" respectively. They may then create a Combined Room called "Room 1/2" that can be sold as a "Interconnecting Family Room".

View Combined Rooms

1. Click on the Manage tab.

2. Click on Products and Rates in the left hand menu.

3. Click on the " Setup Combined Rooms" button.

4. To view the details of an individual item of Combined Room, click on the (View) button beside the Combined Room name.

Setup New Combined Rooms

1. In Manage, click on Products and Rates in the left hand menu.

2. Click on the " Setup Combined Rooms" button.

3. Click on the " Add Combined Rooms" button.

4. Enter the Name of the Combined Room, e.g. Room 1/2.

5. Enter a Code for the Combined Room, e.g. R1/2.

6. Click on the " Save" button.

You will see the new item of Combined Room listed in the Summary screen with a icon, indicating that the setup is incomplete. The next step is to Add Rooms to Combined Room as per the instructions below:

Add Rooms to Combined Room

This is the step to define which Rooms make up the Combined Room, e.g. Room 1 + Room 2 = Room 1/2.

1. Click on the (View) button beside the listed Combined Room.

2. Click on the " Add Rooms" button.

3. Put a tick on the box in the Check to be Added column that corresponds with the Rooms that make up the Combined Room.

4. Click on the "Add Room" button.

When you go "Back" to the Summary screen, you will see that the Combined Room listed now has a icon, indicating that the combined room setup is complete. You must now ensure that this Combined Room is associated with the relevant Products. SEE ALSO Product & Room Setup - Accommodation

Edit Combined Rooms

To change the name or code of Combined Room:

1. In Manage, click on Products and Rates in the left hand menu.

2. Click on the " Setup Combined Rooms" button.

3. Click on the (Edit) button beside the listed Combined Room.

4. Make the necessary changes.

5. Click on the " Save" button.

Remove Rooms associated with Combined Rooms

1. In Manage, click on Products and Rates in the left hand menu.

2. Click on the " Setup Combined Rooms" button.

3. Click on the (View) button beside the listed Combined Room.

4. Click on the (Delete) button beside the Room item to be removed from the system.

5. Note the warning and confirm the deletion.

Delete Combined Room

1. In Manage, click on Products and Rates in the left hand menu.

2. Click on the " Setup Combined Room" button.

3. Click on the (Delete) button beside the Combined Room to be removed from the system.

4. Note the warning and confirm the deletion.
