Why is a Product showing as Unavailable on the Diary Screen?
Possible reasons:
There are no prices allocated to this Product. You need to allocate at least one Season and Rate Type to this Product. SEE ALSO Set Seasons and Pricing Rules - Accommodation or Set Seasonal Schedules - Tours/Attractions/Events.
This Accommodation Product has no Active Inventory associated. Go to Manage>Inventory Setup> Setup Standard Inventory. Click the name of the product (e.g. Double Ensuite) and scroll down the following page to ensure inventory is listed for this product (e.g. Room 1, Room 2).
This Tour/Attraction/Event Product has its status set to ‘Inactive’. Go to Manage>Inventory Setup>View Product () check that under Settings, the status is set to Active.
If the Unavailable (grey) bar has a Customer name, this means that this Inventory item (e.g. room) has been allocated to more than one Product, and has been booked as another Product. If you require this particular room to be made available, you must cancel the existing booking (SEE Cancel a Booking) or move it to another room within the same Product (SEE Edit a Booking- Accommodation).
