Combined Inventory

Combined Inventory is made up of two or more rooms which, when joined, can be sold as one product.

Example:

• A hotel may have Inventory called "Room 1" and "Room 2" that can be sold separately as a "Double Room" and "Twin Room" respectively. They may then create Combined Inventory called "Room 1/2" that can be sold as a "Family Room".

View Combined Inventory

1. Click on the Manage tab.

2. Click on Inventory Setup in the left hand menu.

3. Click on the " Setup Combined Inventory" button.

4. To view the details of an individual item of Combined Inventory, click on the " View" button beside the Combined Inventory name.

Setup New Combined Inventory

1. In Manage, click on Inventory Setup in the left hand menu.

2. Click on the " Setup Combined Inventory" button.

3. Click on the " Add Combined Inventory" button.

4. Enter the Name of the Combined Inventory, e.g. Room 1/2.

5. Enter a Code for the Combined Inventory, e.g. R1/2.

6. Click on the " Save" button.

You will see the new item of Combined Inventory listed in the Summary screen with a icon, indicating that the setup is incomplete. The next step is to Add Inventory to Combined Inventory as per the instructions below:

Add Inventory to Combined Inventory

This is the step to define which items of Inventory make up the Combined Inventory, e.g. Room 1 + Room 2 = Room 1/2.

1. Click on the " View" button beside the listed Combined Inventory.

2. Click on the " Add Inventory" button.

3. Put a tick on the box in the Check to be Added column that corresponds with the Inventory items that make up the Combined Inventory.

4. Click on the "Add Inventory" button.

When you go "Back" to the Summary screen, you will see that the Combined Inventory listed now has a icon, indicating that the setup has been complete. The next step is to Add Inventory to a Product.

Edit Combined Inventory

To change the name or code of Combined Inventory:

1. In Manage, click on Inventory Setup in the left hand menu.

2. Click on the " Setup Combined Inventory" button.

3. Click on the " Edit" button beside the listed item of Combined Inventory.

4. Make the necessary changes.

5. Click on the " Save" button.

Remove Inventory associated with Combined Inventory

1. In Manage, click on Inventory Setup in the left hand menu.

2. Click on the " Setup Combined Inventory" button.

3. Click on the " View" button beside the listed item of Combined Inventory.

4. Click on the " Delete" button beside the Inventory item to be removed from the system.  

5. Note the warning and confirm the deletion.

Delete Combined Inventory

1. In Manage, click on Inventory Setup in the left hand menu.

2. Click on the " Setup Combined Inventory" button.

3. Click on the " Delete" button beside the Combined Inventory item to be removed from the system.

4. Note the warning and confirm the deletion.
