Setup New Inventory

  1. Click on the Manage tab.

  2. Click on Inventory Setup in the left hand menu.

  3. Enter your check-in and check-out times if they differ from the default times of 14:00 and 10:00.

  4. Select the Classification that best describes your business from the drop-down list.  

  5. Click on the "Setup Standard Inventory" button.

  6. Click on the " Add Inventory" button.

  7. The Status of the Inventory should remain as Active.

  8. Enter the Name of the Inventory, e.g. Room 2 or Room 10.

  9. Enter a Code for the Inventory, e.g. R02. or R10.

  10. Select the Inventory Preferences*.

  11. Click on the "Save" button.

  12. Repeat steps 6 to 11 for each new Product you wish to add.

*A Waitlist Product is a "virtual" room that does not relate to an actual resource, but is used to take bookings for customers wishing to be waitlisted when no actual rooms are available. Booking data is not recorded in relevant reports, and this product cannot be booked online.

* Enabling a Product to be Available for Online Bookings will mean it will be available for sale through online channels, e.g. on "My Website" or through Distributors.

 

Add Inventory to a Product

To add individual Inventory and Combined Inventory that have been previously set up to a Product:

  1. In Manage, click on Inventory Setup in the left hand menu. A summary of the previously created Products will be shown.

  2. Click on the Product name

  3. Scroll down to the Associated Inventory section of this new page and click " Add Inventory"

  4. To find the rooms available for association with this Product, select Inventory or Combined Inventory from the drop down list, then click on the   "Search" button

  5. From the list of rooms displayed, check the box/boxes beside the room/s that can be sold as part of this Product.

  6. Click on the "Save" button.

Edit Inventory

  1. In Manage, click on Inventory Setup in the left hand menu.

  2. Click on the " Setup Standard Inventory" button.

  3. To edit the details of an individual piece of Inventory, click on the "Edit" button beside the Inventory name.

  4. Modify the Description, Code or any Settings as necessary.

  5. Click on the " Save" button.

Delete Inventory

  1. In Manage, click on Inventory Setup in the left hand menu.

  2. Click on the " Setup Standard Inventory" button.

  3. To remove an individual piece of Inventory, click on the " Delete" button beside the Inventory name.

  4. Note the Warning and confirm the deletion.

It is not possible to delete an item of Inventory if there are existing bookings for the room.
