Override a check-in or check-out in order to change the status of the Customer in the System.
Note that Check-ins/outs are actually applied to a particular Inventory item, so that you can choose to check in individual Rooms within the one booking (for example if guests within the same booking are arriving at different times). Therefore the Check-in/Check-out status of the Customer as shown in the Folio will not display unless all Rooms have the same Check-in/out status.

In the Customer Folio screen, with Accounts tab selected, click to highlight the relevant account.
Click on the "Check-In/Check-out" button from the left hand Account Function menu.
In the pop-up window, select the Inventory (eg Room) to be changed, then click "Override Check-in".
This Customer’s status will change to "Not Checked-in".
In the Customer Folio screen, with Accounts tab selected, click to highlight the relevant account.
Click on the "Check-In/Check-Out" button from the left hand Account Function menu.
In the pop-up window, select the Inventory (eg Room) to be changed, then click "Override Check-out".
This Customer’s status will change back to "Checked-in".
